An apprenticeship really can take you anywhere. So whether you’re learning to nurse baby lambs and chicks or getting stuck in on a busy manufacturing line making the nation’s Easter eggs, there’s an apprenticeship out there for everyone.

During the recent National Apprenticeship Week businesses of all sizes pledged a further 30,000 new apprenticeships. These new opportunities will give even more young people across the country a fast-track into a great career with the opportunity to earn while learning on the job.

Skills Minister Nick Boles said:

“Apprenticeships are as varied as the people who do them. Whether you want to be a vet looking after spring lambs, or a chocolatier making Easter eggs, there is an apprenticeship for you.

“We are driving to develop 3 million apprenticeships by 2020 so that people across the country can get stuck-in and build a great career.”
