Role Summary The Social Media Manager / Executive will play a crucial role in enhancing BiP’s digital presence, driving engagement, and growing our audience across social media platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic social media campaigns that align with the organisation’s objectives and resonate with government stakeholders, industry influencers, and event participants. Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to support event promotion, brand awareness, and stakeholder engagement. Align social media efforts with the broader marketing and communication strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and branding. Content Creation & Management: Create compelling content (text, graphics, video) tailored for B2G audiences across platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. Schedule and manage posts, ensuring optimal timing and frequency for maximum engagement. Community Engagement & Growth: Engage with followers, industry leaders, and government stakeholders by responding to comments and inquiries promptly. Develop strategies to grow social media followers and drive event registrations through targeted campaigns. Campaign Performance & Analytics: Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights on engagement metrics, audience growth, and campaign effectiveness. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize reach and engagement. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including Event Coordinators, PR, and Content Marketing, to ensure cohesive messaging. Liaise with external partners, sponsors, and speakers to amplify event promotions. Crisis Management & Compliance: Manage sensitive communications professionally and in line with government communication standards.
