Product Manager

Role Summary:

As a Product Manager within our Product & Data Team, and aligned to a designated Commercial Growth Unit, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic direction and execution of our SaaS product portfolio. This role demands a strong commercial mindset, ensuring that product development is tightly aligned with revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, and market share expansion.

You will operate at the intersection of technology, data, marketing, and sales — translating market needs and business goals into innovative, compliant, and commercially impactful product solutions. Your ability to think creatively within regulated environments will be key to unlocking new opportunities and delivering differentiated value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and evolve the product roadmap in alignment with commercial objectives, customer needs, and market dynamics.
  • Champion a data-driven approach to product strategy, leveraging insights to identify growth opportunities and inform prioritisation.
  • Ensure product vision reflects both short-term deliverables and long-term strategic goals.

 

Commercial Alignment & Value Creation

  • Ensure all product initiatives are directly linked to measurable commercial outcomes — including revenue generation, customer retention, and market differentiation.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to validate product-market fit and support pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies.
  • Conduct cost-benefit and impact analyses to prioritise high-value features and enhancements.
  • Monitor product performance against KPIs, iterating based on customer feedback and business impact.

 

Creative Innovation in Regulated Markets

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation within regulatory constraints, balancing compliance with customer-centric design.
  • Work with legal, compliance, and data governance teams to ensure product features meet industry standards while enabling competitive advantage.

 

Data & Analytical Solutions Development

  • Partner with Data Science and Technology teams to develop user-friendly dashboards, analytics tools, and data-driven features that enhance customer experience and decision-making.
  • Translate complex data requirements into actionable product features that deliver insight and value.

 

Market Awareness & Competitive Positioning

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, including emerging trends, new entrants, and evolving customer expectations.
  • Regularly benchmark our SaaS solutions against competitors to identify differentiators, gaps, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Data teams to gather intelligence on competitor offerings and customer feedback.
  • Ensure product development is informed by competitive insights, enabling us to stay ahead in terms of functionality, usability, compliance, and commercial value.
  • Support the creation of positioning strategies that clearly articulate how our solutions outperform alternatives in the market.

 

Execution & Delivery

  • Own backlog prioritisation and sprint planning, ensuring clarity of acceptance criteria and alignment with business goals.
  • Guide the product lifecycle from discovery through to launch and iteration, maintaining a balance between speed-to-market and long-term sustainability.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure SaaS solutions.

 

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Support

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to shape GTM strategies for new launches and enhancements.
  • Provide clear messaging, positioning, and value propositions tailored to customer personas and segments.
  • Support creation of enablement materials including demos, documentation, FAQs, and training resources.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Act as a central liaison between Technology, Data Science, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure product initiatives align with broader company strategy.
  • Foster transparency and shared understanding across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Report regularly on roadmap progress, commercial impact, and product performance.
