Announcing the launch of Delta V7

Delta V7

BiP Solutions is delighted to announce the launch of Delta V7, the latest release of Delta eSourcing – the EU-compliant, robust, secure e-procurement service for public sector organisations. BiP’s goal is to work on continuous investment in and improvement to the Delta eSourcing platform, and so it is with great pleasure that we release our new major version Delta V7.

This latest release of Delta eSourcing contains new features and enhancements to the service which will further improve the experience of the organisations that rely on Delta every day for all their procurement needs. The Delta team pride themselves on being responsive to customer needs and the ever-changing requirements of the marketplace. Delta V7 benefits from the new Dynamic Purchasing System Manager module.

The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Manager module is an efficient and wholly electronic framework procedure in which buyers can procure goods, works or services commonly available on the market. The buyer benefits from a refreshable pool of suppliers with companies which meet the selection criteria being able to join at any point. There is no limit to the number of suppliers which can access the DPS. The award of tenders can be quicker than under other procedures and minimum timescale for return of tenders is 10 days. The buyer can improve efficiency as there is no requirement to advertise in OJEU for each mini-competition and suppliers only need to deonstrate suitability once.

A series of training webinars are planned to ensure public sector organisations can make the most of this and the other new benefits available within the Delta service. Over 300 public sector organisations spanning all sectors entrust their e-procurement services to Delta eSourcing in the UK and globally, publishing over 6100 notices and generating over 2100 supplier bids in the past year alone.

Delta eSourcing has built a reputation for developing cutting-edge solutions which offer users intuitive design underpinned by superior customer service, and these latest developments to the service are expected to further enhance that reputation.
