Sales Performance Analyst (Manchester)

We are excited to bring to market the newly created role of Sales Performance Analyst.  Reporting directly into the Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in providing a wide-ranging level of sales performance  analysis and holistic management information to support and drive individual and team-based sales performance, in line with our high growth strategy.

Your Focus

You will support the Sales Director through a wide range of analysis, management information and overall sales governance.  This will include but not limited to: –

  • Provide ongoing in-depth analysis which will in-turn influence sales performance
  • Ongoing pipeline analysis of individual and team sales performance
  • Effective management and allocation of sales leads in line with company process
  • Conduct deep analysis and communicate trends to support the development of the sales pipeline and overall sales performance
  • Comprehensive analysis of the sales team performance in line with KPIs
  • Identify and flag possible risks in in the process to mitigate impact on the sales performance
  • Overall governance of the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Support the design and visualisation of dashboards to track and develop sales performance
  • Creating ad hoc reports to help shape and influence performance and future sales strategy
  • Supporting Sales Director with the design and implementation of an effective onboarding process for new starts, in line with our growth ambitions
  • Supporting the quality and integrity of our data

Your Skills & Experience

This is a multi-disciplined role; therefore it requires you to bring with you a range of skills, experience and behaviours.  Key to us will be: –

  • Strong experience within a commercial analytical role
  • Track record of establishing a suite of reporting activity, linked to driving commercial delivery
  • Exposure to working in a B2B sales environment and with that, an understanding of the sales process and sales people
  • Experience of CRM management; ideally Salesforce
  • Proficient in managing and interpreting complex data; experienced in Excel and other packages
  • A commercial mindset and business acumen
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective stakeholders relationships – both within the sales team and with wider business units
