Research Executive

Overview

BiP Solutions are delighted to bring to market the role of Research Executive, with day-to-day responsibility for the successful delivery of client research projects.

Our Cadence Marketing service helps customers to develop their market understanding and build lasting relationships with key influencers and decision makers; particularly across the UK public sector. Research projects are a proven way to engage with this market and create valuable content and insight that builds profile and audience. This role, working in partnership with the wider digital content team, is instrumental in delivering a consistently high standard of outcome for our clients.

The role will be based out of our Manchester office, although there may also be scope to work from our Glasgow location.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Hands on creation and execution or research projects and surveys, across a range of topics and market areas
  • With the client, identifying themes and topical issues that stimulate interest and maximise response
  • Using our extensive contacts database to profile the ideal audience for the research project
  • Formulating questions and evaluation metrics
  • Working directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle – from discovery through to delivery and promotion
  • Creating and reporting back on research analysis
  • Working in close partnership with the wider team and account lead to optimise campaign success
  • Supporting the creation of other assets driven by the research project – for example, live events, webinars and content

Location: Manchester office, with travel to Glasgow office and work offsite, when required

Skills:

Essential

  • Minimum of three years’ experience working in a research role
  • Strong research, copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to be flexible and react positively to changing priorities
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Excel)

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level
  • Hold, or be working towards, a recognised research qualification
