The Opportunity

Reporting into the Events Manager, we are actively recruiting for an Event Administrator to join our established Events Department, with the remit of driving the performance capability of our established live and online events and exhibitions portfolio; worth £2m to our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of live and online events portfolio through providing a supporting administrative role to the Events team
  • Liaison with exhibitors, sponsors and partners to ensure all pre-event and on-day requirements are met
  • Assist in liaison with key suppliers to co-ordinate the live element of events
  • Coordinating the build/updating of web resources in relation to the events (websites/registration forms/online event platforms)
  • Booking/processing/sending of marketing campaigns
  • Provide representation at live events
  • Any other related ad-hoc duties

What are we looking for?

An individual with:

  • Exposure to operating within an Events environment (desirable)
  • Extensive experience of working in an admin role, with a focus on working to a varied workload
  • Robust planning and attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word; Excel and PowerPoint
  • Web experience (including HTML/ WordPress) highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to work well under pressure
  • Professionalism and maturity
