Corporate Communications and Content Executive (Manchester)

The Role

Based out of our Manchester office, BiP Solutions are delighted to bring to market the newly created role of Corporate Communications Content Executive, with day to day responsibility for supporting the execution of, and producing a range of content in support of, BiP’s corporate communications content strategy.

Reporting into the Head of Content and Client Services, the key responsibilities of the role will involve: –

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of internal and external content communication plans to build and maintain BiP Solutions’ reputation among key audiences
  • Conducting research across key markets and sectors to identify trends and developments with a view to creating market-specific content for areas ranging from Healthcare to Government, Defence to Construction, in support of BiP’s remit
  • Drafting and production of high quality and engaging corporate communications content across multiple channels for a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Aggregrating and repurposing content from a variety of BiP sources in support of the corporate communications strategy
  • Representing the organisation at external events and meetings, as and when required
  • Identifying opportunities across the organisation to position BiP Solutions positively and support our wider remit

Location: Manchester office, with travel to Glasgow office, when required

Skills:

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a communications role, ideally with a content remit
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Experience of dealing with media contacts and PR agencies
  • Excellent understanding of best practice and digital communications
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Evidence of using creative and innovative approaches
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to be flexible and react positively to changing priorities

Desirable

  • Hold, or be working towards, a recognised communication qualification
  • Membership of a professional body such as CIPR or CIM
  • Experience of working in a multi-site organisation
