Business Development Manager – Media
£25,000 + uncapped commission
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing Media team based in our new, modern offices in Salford Quays. Primarily office based, the successful candidate will be responsible for introducing our portfolio of Media and Marketing Solutions to new and existing clients.
- Prospecting for potential new customers and developing into increased business revenue.
- Retaining and growing revenue through proactive management of assigned customer relationships.
- Cold calling as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Leading all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery
- Researching and building relationships with new customers.
- Presenting new products and services and enhancing existing relationships.
- Proactively managing customer satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems and monitoring satisfaction.
- New business sales experience; ideally within a B2B media, events, software etc
- Proven background in a B2B sales environment; from a consultative sales background
- Strong understanding of the solution based sales process
- Proven track record of success and a natural ability to sell
- A strong commercial acumen and the ability to demonstrate creative and lateral thinking
- Strong work ethic and a determined attitude to deliver
