Funded by Hounslow Council and run in association with Branduin Business Support and Hounslow Chamber of Commerce, it is designed to help those that employ less than 10 people and are based in the borough.

The package which has a commercial value of £2,000 but is free for small local businesses to apply for and be part of, includes workshops offering advice aimed at helping to grow small businesses.

It will offer information on creating a business strategy and plan for individual businesses, advice and support on financial management, marketing and online presence and the role of women in business.

There will also be an opportunity to have one-to-one business mentoring sessions with business advisors.

Councillor Steve Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council, said:

“Hounslow Council is committed to supporting local businesses and with this project, this will enable us to back our small businesses across the borough.

In these tough economic times, local businesses rely on the support and backing we can give them as a local authority.

This programme is just one of the ways we are helping to boost small local business as part of our promise to achieve regeneration and economic development targets in our borough.

I encourage local small businesses to get on board with this and see how it can help them to continue to grow.”
