With £30,000 of start-up funding donated by BiP, the Foundation hopes to play their part in helping to change many young people’s lives by removing the barriers they face to accessing education, skills and employment.
The support provided by the Foundation will range from simply funding the purchase of equipment to supporting access to education and building and supporting infrastructure development for whole communities. The Foundation’s engagement will not only be financial – but will also include individual BiP employees committing their time to identified projects around the world.
By helping young people to escape poverty and develop their skills, the Foundation will be able to contribute to not only their future, but also help them to one day contribute to the development of their own communities.
Recent projects include:
Able2sail – helping young people achieve sailing qualifications
Govan High School – wi-fi installation to increase access to online sources of learning
Charity English Medium School, Arusha, Tanzania – pupil sponsorship, teaching materials, minibus

“Our mission is to transform lives and communities by helping today’s children and young people achieve and exceed their potential and become outstanding citizens of tomorrow’s world.”
BiP prides itself on being an ethical employer. This means we’re an equal opportunities employer, we pay the Living Wage and we want to provide the best working environment for all our employees.
We support a green environmental policy in our offices, encouraging recycling, energy efficient lighting and water-saving hydrotaps in our kitchens.
Our values of passion, integrity and respect begin with how we treat our employees and extend into our work with the community and our charity efforts.
We understand the role our business plays in the wider community. With this in mind, we have embarked on a community partnership with Govan High School, located less than two miles from our Head Office location. Through this partnership we are supporting students in completing their SQA Employability Award while also providing a number of Work Experience opportunities for pupils.
We’ve joined forces with BT to set up a mydonate page for Realising Dreams making it even easier for you to donate online to our charity. We picked BT’s mydonate service because precisely because unlike some other places it is a free fundraising service where every single penny of your donations goes to our charity.
