including
potential Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games business opportunities.
The SCOTTISH
Public SECTOR Procurement Reform Programme was initiated in
response to a review of public procurement in Scotland carried
out by John F McClelland CBE. The Programme is a far-reaching
and ambitious undertaking that aims to improve procurement
across the Scottish public sector. The Programme's vision
is the implementation of structures, capability and processes
to provide continuous improvement in procurement across the
Scottish public sector in order to deliver value for money
improvements and support increased efficiency.
The
profile of public procurement in Scotland has never been higher,
and the opportunities for suppliers of all sizes have never
been greater
