Within
the Programme Team there are five streams of work:

- Procurement
development (people and skills, management information and
best practice)

of Expertise coordination

These
teams will produce national frameworks, policy and guidance,
and will link with equivalent projects within public bodies
across the sector.
This
event will provide you with a unique opportunity to meet with
members of the newly formed Centres of Expertise, which include:

- NHS
Scotland (NHSS) National Procurement (NP)

2014
Commonwealth Games, Glasgow
The First
Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond, has vowed to make the
Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games the greatest sporting event
Scotland has ever seen. It has been estimated that it will
cost approximately £288 million to stage the event,
which is in addition to more than £1 billion of infrastructure
projects that are already under way, such as the M74 extension,
Glasgow Airport Rail Link and new National Indoor Sports Arena.
