This year’s event seeks to examine the expanding
agenda of procurement in its widest sense.

The procurement remit includes not only making improvements and efficiencies within a particular public service (eg Health, Local Authority etc) but also looking at public sector expenditure more holistically and securing improvements through collaboration between public sector service providers.

Once again, procurement/commissioning professionals need to continue to adapt and adjust to the current and foreseeable needs of our authorities and other public services. In this way the profession can make a valuable contribution.
