Teres Molloy
Teresa
was educated at Queen’s University, Belfast, where she
read Business Administration and Accountancy, and at the University
of Ulster. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing
and Supply. Her background is in the private sector, and she
spent 12 years at Shorts, one of Northern Ireland’s
largest private sector employers. She was appointed as the
Regional Director of Supplies for the Central Services Agency
in Northern Ireland in 1999. She runs the Regional Supplies
Service, which provides professional procurement and supply
chain services to all health and social care bodies in Northern
Ireland, and manages the procurement arrangements for an expenditure
of £300 million. Regional Supplies Service is one of
a small number of Centres of Procurement Expertise recognised
by the NI Procurement Policy. |

John
Wilkinson
Director
General, Association of British Healthcare Industries
John
was appointed Director General of the Association of British
Healthcare Industries on 1 January 2004. The ABHI is the ‘voice’
of the medical devices and systems industry in the United
Kingdom and represents a large proportion of this £6
billion-plus industry. John has over 25 years' experience
in the medical devices and diagnostics industry, having held
senior positions in Becton-Dickinson and Ohmeda, before becoming
Chief Executive of a medical imaging start-up venture. He
also acts as the joint-secretariat with the Department of
Health for the Healthcare Industries Task Force (HITF). He
has given evidence to the Health Select Committee on issues
such as the cost benefits of new medical technologies and
the speed of, and barriers to, adoption of innovations within
the NHS. |

Julian
Cobbledick
Former Managing Director, Nottingham Rehab Ltd
Julian
became Managing Director of Nottingham Rehab Ltd in July 2005,
having spent over 22 years in the health care industry. He
left the company to start a new change management and software
consultancy specialising in health care in April 2007. Prior
to health care, he received his early career training and
experience in the food industry and his mid career was spent
in the furniture and building supply fields. During his health
care career, Julian was seconded onto a number of International
Standards, Department of Health and Department for Transport
working groups as industry representative, and he chaired
a number of industry think tanks. He has just stepped down
as President of the British Healthcare Trades Association,
having previously been Chairman from 2000 to 2003. He is a
Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) and
the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA).

Dalton,
Chief Executive, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust
David
is Chief Executive of Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust –
a University Teaching Hospital employing over 4300 staff across
a full range of general and most specialist services. David
is currently involved in a major change management programme
which is redesigning services to provide integrated services
between the hospital and primary care – reducing hospitalisation
wherever appropriate. A major £217 million hospital
redevelopment, which reached financial close in September
2007, will see the redesigned services operating within a
new hospital and associated primary care centres. David started
his career in hospital management in 1979. He joined Salford
in July 2001 having been CE at the Walton Centre for Neurology
and Neurosurgery NHS Trust in Liverpool for the previous seven
years. Before coming to the North West, he worked at Barts
in London, Queen Mary’s in Kent, the Radcliffe Infirmary
in Oxford and St Thomas’ in London. |

Andrew
Donald
Health Sector Manager, ntl:Telewest Business
Andrew
joined ntl:Telewest Business in 1996 and his previous roles
within the company include Director for Wales and New Business
Director for the Celtic Regions. He left in 2003 to become
Chief Executive of the Neath Swansea Ospreys, rejoining ntl:Telewest
Business in 2005. Andrew is a member of the Welsh Assembly
Thematic Advisory Group for ICT, Innovation and R&D, Chairman
of the Gorseinon Regeneration Trust and is a Governor of Gorseinon
College and Pengelli Primary School. He advises a number of
Agencies and Partnerships on ICT and Regeneration. |

Services
Peter
is Director of London, Eastern and South East Specialist Pharmacy
Services and Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Market Support
Group. Since graduating from Brighton Polytechnic in 1970,
he has held various positions including first resident pharmacist
at Nottingham General Hospital, senior pharmacist at Derbyshire
Royal Infirmary, principal pharmacist at King’s College
Hospital, district pharmacist at Charing Cross Hospital, pharmacy
services manager at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust and
pharmaceutical adviser to the London Regional Office, DHSC
(London), London Regional Health Group/NHS London, and the
London Specialised Commissioning Group. |

Jean
van Soelen
Vice President of Marketing, Pyxis International, Cardinal
Health
Jean
is responsible for Pyxis International at Cardinal Health,
which encompasses all markets outside of North America. Pyxis
technology automates supply administration and dispensing
processes within acute care environments. Jean holds a Masters
degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire
University in New Hampshire, USA. Her experience includes
executive leadership positions, with international responsibilities
including sales, marketing, technical services, consulting
services, product management, and operations - primarily for
technology companies which focus on bringing systems and automation
to the healthcare industry.

Dinner Speaker: Ian Irving
The Essex-born
comedian was first seen on UK television on New Faces. Following
this he also appeared on Surprise, Surprise, which led to
a nationwide theatre tour with Richard Digance. In an extremely
competitive profession, where many club comedians fall by
the wayside, Ian has developed a unique style of humour that
is attracting the attention of promoters, corporate clients
and television producers alike. In addition to performing
his own first-class cabaret act, Ian is an established compère,
which helps to ensure the smooth running of your event. |
