Mark Patterson
Vice President – Customer Development and Strategy, NHS Supply Chain

Over the next few years our customers will face a huge challenge. The QIPP Efficiency drive needs to save £20 billion by 2014/2015, with £1.2 billion required from procurement. Essentially, "doing more with less".

As the UK’s leading procurement and logistics provider to the NHS, NHS Supply Chain is uniquely positioned as the only national provider with the ability to deliver the fully integrated approach, working alongside trusts to respond to the evolving NHS landscape, deliver a sustainable procurement solution that will help trusts make the most of their budgets, contribute towards their CIPS targets and the national QIPP agenda.

Working with clinicians, procurement and trust executives to deliver cash releasing savings and back office efficiencies, we recognise that we all have a part to play. NHS Supply Chain is looking to work with trusts to optimise non-pay spend and deliver savings to help protect frontline services for the NHS.
