The new OJEU proformas require that far more information be provided to potential tenderers. They run to almost 100 pages and contain many new questions that seek to ensure your authority’s compliance with Directive 2004/18/EC and the
Remedies Directive.

QUESTIONS SUCH AS:
Weightings, justification for use of the Negotiated Procedure or Accelerated Procedure, body responsible for your appeals process, and many more. In all the new OJEU Proformas extend to over 100 pages and require answers to literally hundreds of
questions.

Getting it wrong could prove expensive. Increasingly the European Commission is monitoring the content of the contract
notices it receives for publication in the OJEU, seeking to ensure compliance with the Public Procurement Directives.
