A Beginners Guide to Public Sector Contracting (Part One)
The aim of this training module is to provide those personnel who are new to procurement, or who require a refresher, to gain a clearer understanding of the public sector market. In particular, this module provides an overview of the EU Public Contract Regulations 2004/18/EC and the subsequent UK and Scottish Statutory Instruments.

A Beginners Guide to Public Sector Contracting (Part Two)
Part Two of 'A Beginners Guide' takes a more detailed look at the Negotiated and Competitive Dialogue Procedures. The module also looks in a little more depth at Framework Agreements, Dynamic Purchasing Systems and Electronic Auctions.

Playing to Win (Part One) - Improving Your Chances of Winning Tenders
We regularly receive requests for help from suppliers who are having little success in the public sector marketplace. This module is part one of four, designed to help companies new to the market, to develop a greater understanding of public procurement.

Playing to Win (Part Two) -
Preparing the Perfect Tender
The aim of this training module is to provide those personnel who are new to procurement, or who require a refresher, to gain a clearer understanding of the public sector market. In particular, this module provides an overview of the EU Public Contract Regulations 2004/18/EC and the subsequent UK and Scottish Statutory Instruments.
Race and Equality in Procurement
Local authorities across the UK spend billions of pounds every year on contracts with private and voluntary organisations for goods, works and services. They must now also ensure that this investment is consistent with their race equality obligations. This training module is designed to give suppliers a greater understanding of the various aspects of race and equality measures in procurement in the public sector.

Electronic Public Procurement
The introduction of electronic means within the public procurement process raises a number of issues. However, few of these are new or specific to the use of e-procurement: most deal with the issue of how to organise electronically procedures initially designed for paper.
This training module is designed to give suppliers a greater understanding of electronic public procurement and the current principles and rules which regulate the awarding process.

Contract Management - Part One
Contract management is the process that enables both parties to a contract to meet their obligations in order to deliver the objectives required from the contract.
The aim of Part One of this training module is to provide buyers with an in-depth look at the various aspects of contract management.

Contract Management - Part Two
For some non-strategic contracts, a more tactical approach may be suitable. For long-term strategic contracts, the emphasis on building a relationship will be much greater.
Part Two of this training module is a continuation of our guide for buyers interested in gaining a greater understanding of the major aspects of contract management.
