Workshop 6: Post Tender Skills

Description

Date - 19.10.10 - Thistle Hotel, Glasgow

Overview

This seminar will look at various issues, including relationship management, escalation processes and contract reporting, which require to be implemented once the contract has been won.

About

Once the tender is won, the hard work starts. Contractors often run into issues they had neither considered nor costed for. This workshop will examine the soft issues around contract management, such as developing reporting processes, building robust relationships and monitoring progress, and will also consider the issues of managing risk and dealing with complaints.

Why attend

The costs of managing a contract can often outweigh the benefits of tendering success if left unchecked. This workshop looks to address some of the key issues contractors need to consider.

Who should attend

This workshop is designed for any organisation taking part in the tender process that has never considered the cost implications of running a contract.
