PRO-CURE is an NHS organisation providing commercial services to trusts across the South of England. Based from two sites in Theale, near Reading and in Southampton, it provides purchasing, supply chain, consultancy and contracting services to member NHS Trusts throughout Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. Its highly skilled team works with clinicians, managers and purchasing colleagues to drive collaboration and best practice and make the most of NHS resources.
PRO-CURE was formed in April 2006 as part of the creation of Collaborative Procurement Hubs (CPHs) across the country and the Government's drive for greater efficiencies within the NHS. Since then, the organisation has evolved to meet the growing commercial needs of NHS organisations and now offers an enhanced range of services including optimal supply chain solutions and training. A large proportion of NHS procurement is already conducted with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
