BiP helps UK become Europe leader

E-Procurement: Inviting Tenders Just Got Faster!!

FOLLOWING LAST MONTH’S news that BiP had become the first e-Sender in the production of OJEC contract information,

Karen Bowman, Procurement Director at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the upgraded PrOJECt system: “We (University of Edinburgh) issued two adverts and got two responses within 3 hours! “ One of the complaints about the procurement process is that doing the right thing takes time. The University of Edinburgh Procurement Office uses PrOJECt, a web-based tool for issuing adverts for major tenders into the Official Journal of the European Communities (OJEC alerts suppliers across the EU to opportunities over £150k) and for local tenders (over £25k) to appear in various publications, via BiP Ltd.
